Lisa Blum, PT, DPT, CYT, is a dedicated physical therapist who has experience in treating an array of musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions. She proudly serves the New York City area at Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness, located in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.
As a child, Dr. Blum found her passion for physical therapy after being diagnosed with scoliosis. She pursued her dreams by receiving her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Nutrition from CUNY Queens College in Queens, New York. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy with cum laude honors at CUNY Hunter College in Manhattan, New York.
Dr. Blum has years of experience with structural yoga training, yoga teaching, and strength training and is a certified yoga teacher for both backcare and scoliosis. She loves applying her knowledge of exercise science to help her patients reach their personal goals, feel more confident in their abilities, and improve their daily lives.
In her free time, Dr. Blum teaches the anatomy and physiology portion of yoga teacher training courses across Long Island, New York. She is also an adjunct professor and teaches clinical anatomy at LIU Brooklyn, located in Brooklyn, New York.
