Insurance & Medicare Coverage
We are an in-network Medicare provider at all locations
Medicare — In-Network
Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness is proud to be an in-network Medicare provider at all of our locations. We accept:
- Medicare Part B — covers medically necessary outpatient physical therapy
- Medicare Advantage plans (Medicare Part C)
What Medicare Covers
Medicare Part B covers physical therapy when it is medically necessary to treat an injury, illness, or condition. There is no fixed visit limit — coverage continues as long as your treatment is making progress and is deemed medically necessary by your therapist.
No Referral Needed
New York state allows direct access to physical therapy. You do not need a referral from a physician to begin treatment. Simply call us to schedule your first appointment.
Other Insurance
We work with all insurance carriers and provide superbills for easy reimbursement. A superbill is a detailed receipt that you submit to your insurance company to receive reimbursement for your sessions.
As a specialized practice, every session at Tula is one-on-one with your physical therapist for a full 45 minutes — you won't be passed between aides or share time with other patients. Many patients find they get better results in fewer visits, often making the investment more cost-effective than high-copay in-network clinics.
